Ship To Quay Inflatable Yokohama Ship Rubber Fenders
Product Introduction:
Ship rubber fender is also known as Yokohama type fender. It's made of the synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside. The insider air can enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorbed between two ships (ship-to-ship), or between ships and berthing structures when they come alongside each other on the water.
Advantage of Shunhang Ship Rubber Fender:

Our ship rubber fenders can bear the pressure 1.5 times than the ordinary technology overlap joint technology.
3.Raw material of our ship rubber fender : Rubber dipped Nylon cord fabric, 1260D9091(1*2)and natural rubber, rubber content 67% ( Some factory use Nylon with less tensile force , and reclaimed rubber ) .All the rubber we use is natural rubber , not any reclaimed rubber .
According to our customers’ feedback, we have been improving the performance of our rubber , the aging of rubber has been greatly improved now. Our rubber has been tested at -40℃, the tensile strength at normal temperature is 18.4MPa.After -40℃, 120 hours testing , the tensile strength is 15.9MPa , there is no obvious change in appearance.
Our ship rubber fenders are also used in Canada ,Russia etc. After six months, customers’ feedback is our pneumatic rubber fenders are still perform well, there’s no obvious change on the surface.
4.The outer chain and tyre net .
Chain - we have hot-dip galvanized chain and stainless steel chain according to customer’s request
Tyre- we have truck tyre, OTR tyre and aircraft tyre according to customer’s request.
All the chain and tyre nets fitted with appropriate shackles , swivel and rubber sleeve etc.
5.The fender body and the chain and tyre net of our pneumatic rubber fender can be separated. While fenders from other supplier are one-piece type.
There are flange on the fender body head to protect the charging connector.
The disadvantage of one-piece type fender is the flange past is easily damaged. Because for the one-piece type fender , chain and tyre net is linked together with the flange , the flange is not only bear the energy absorption and reaction force to the ship hull, but also bear the pull force of the two head sides. The fender can’t be used once the flange of the one-piece type fender damaged.
The fender body and the chain and tyre net of our pneumatic rubber fender can be separated , the fender body only bear the energy absorption and reaction force to the ship hull , the chain and tyre bear the other pull force .
Besides , the chain and tyre net of our pneumatic rubber fenders can be changed to the new ones separately if the old ones is damaged, while the fender body can be still used. That’s save much cost comparing to buy the whole fender.
6.Designed of our ship rubber fender is 6 to 10 years
7.Our warranty period is 2 years, improper use is not covered by warranty.

Application:
The are two typical installation type: ship to ship operation and ship to quay operation
1. Ship to ship operation
Generally speaking, for the light duty ship to ship operation, two contact points are enough. But for the heavy duty ship to ship operation, 1 or 2 extra boat rubber fenders should be used as the primary fendering to absorb the berthing energy, and keep proper stand-off distance between two ships. Meanwhile, two or more small-size fenders can be hung on the ship hull as the secondary fendering.
The ship rubber fenders should be hung by guy chains or guy ropes, which should be selected depending on the different size and weather condition. Shunhang boat rubber fenders are supplied with two ends swivels and shackles that connect the fender body with guy chains or guy ropes.
2. Ship to quay operation
Ship rubber fenders are often used for the ship to quay operation because of its excellent performance. The typical installation type is like the follow figure. The rubber fenders are anchored with quay by the guy chain and shackles. Meanwhile, the boat rubber fenders can be floated on the water surface depend on the change of tide.
