Product Introduction:
Pneumatic rubber fender is also known as Yokohama pneumatic fender. It was fiest invented by the manufacturer of YOKOHAMA, so it now also called Yokohama fenders. After years of improvement, Shunhang's Yokohama fenders used special technilogy and material, makes it to have better performance .
Pneumatic rubber fenders play a critical role in the safe operation of ship berthing and mooring. and became the world's leading anti-collision device.It's widely used for ship-to-ship (STS) transfer operations, ship to quay (STQ) operations and ship-to-berthing (STB) operations.
Raw Material of Pneumatic Rubber Fenders
1. Pneumatic rubber fenders shall consist of a cylindrical bag with hemispherical heads at both ends, which shall be filled with compressed air. The basic body construction of this fender shall consist of an outer rubber, synthetic-tyre-cord layer for reinforcement, and an inner rubber. All of these shall be vulcanized firmly.
2. The outer rubber shall protect the cord layers and inner rubber from abrasion and other external forces. This rubber compound shall have sufficient tensile and tear resistance strength to withstand anticipated weather conditions and severe usage.
3. The inner rubber layer shall seal the air inside.
4. The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layers shall be strong enough to hold the internal pressure. In both compressed and non-compressed situations.
5. The flange opening shall be at either end, or both ends, for convenience of air charge and water filling for Type I and Type II. The flange opening shall be at only one end for Type I Single and no metal parts shall be at the other end to make that end safe from permanent deformation when it gets over compression.
6. The end of the reinforcement-cord layers shall enter the bead ring and be turned up outside the bead ring, which is built-in at the flange opening.
7. Fenders of diameter 2 500 mm and larger shall be equipped with a safety valve for releasing excess internal pressure when the fenders are over-compressed accidentally. Fenders which are smaller than 2 500 mm in diameter, can be equipped with a safety valve if required.
8. The fender shall be equipped with an air valve for inflation and checking air pressure.

Notice Of Fender Application And Storage
1. The fender pressure should be kept in the standard pressure ,within the rate of ± 5% range.
2. Often check the pressure , when the pressure drops, Inflate the fender in time, so as not to affect the normal use of the fender.
3. When connecting the fender with a steel wire rope, the wire rope should be fitted with a rubber sleeve to avoid damage to the fender
4. Do not touch the fender surface with the the sharp objects , to prevent piercing the fender. If the fender's surface is damaged, it will affect the lifespan of the fender.
5. When the fender is in normal use, the fixing points should be firm, prevent the detachment and wash away the fender. Suspension of the rope and hook ring should be connected orderly , can’t be in a mess.
6. If the fender won’t be used in a long time , to clean the fender surface with fresh water, and place the fender in a dry, cool, ventilated place, without direct sunshine.
7. When the fender is stored for a long time, the pressure should be reduced and the fender should be placed far away from the heat source.
8. Because the fender is rubber product, should try to avoid the fireworks, not contact with acid, alkali, oil and other organic solution
9. When the fender is stored, it shall not be folded or stacked, and don’t stack other objects on the fender.
